Just Brittany Kate

Hey there, I'm Brittany Kate – I help new and growing yoga teachers (and the studios that hire them) build the skills that make teaching feel confident: clear sequencing, strong cueing, smart regressions/progressions, and calm leadership in an all-levels room.

Most teachers don’t struggle because they “don’t know enough yoga.” They struggle because they don’t have a repeatable system for building an all-levels class that flows and makes sense, cueing clearly without overtalking, scaling for different bodies in real time, managing timing and transitions, and staying grounded as the leader of the room. That’s what I train.

I’m a Houston/Tomball/Woodlands-based instructor and program leader with a long track record across studios and modalities. I’m currently the Lead Instructor & Program Director at Luxe Yoga, where I teach weekly across all formats, train and audit instructors, host trainings, and test new hires. I also teach at Black Swan Yoga and teach Reformer and Mat Fusion at The Preserve with an emphasis on technique and client progression. My background includes the YMCA (2011–2025), where I led group fitness classes and provided personal training, and founder experience through Tri.be Wellness Community, where I designed class formats, scheduled classes, managed and operated the studio, and hosted workshops, markets, and weekly events.

My certifications and training include Yoga Teacher Training (Institute of Yoga, 2018), Barre (Barre Above, 2019), Reformer (2023), Spin (2023), an Associate’s in Psychology (2025), and personal trainer certification currently in progress.

My approach is simple and practical. I teach a repeatable method for building reliable, all-levels classes and for developing teacher confidence:

Aim — Choose the one outcome for class (strength, mobility, downshift, peak pose, etc.).

Route — Build the warm-up → foundation → peak → integrate → downshift sequence with clear logic.

Choices — Map regressions and progressions so every student has a “yes” option.

Cue — Use fewer words, stronger themes, and clear confidence-building language.

Clock — Dial timing and transitions so class ends grounded, not rushed.
